Farberware Stainless Steel Electric Skillet Review
Stainless Steel Electric Skillet Buyers’ Guide
Start the seasoning process by thoroughly washing your skillet using mild dish soap and warm water. Scrub the inside and the outside of the pan, then rinse and dry it completely. Next, add a layer of oil onto the interior of the skillet until it is fully coated. Try to use an oil that has a high smoke point, such as peanut oil. You can use your fingers to make sure the entire inside of the pan is coated, along with the inner rim. Turn on your electric skillet heat, and let it cook until you see the oil begins to smoke. Once you notice the smoke, turn off your electric skillet. When you have turned off the heat, let the skillet sit and cool down for some time. Use a paper towel to wipe off all the extra oil, and your skillet is seasoned.
