Weston Meat Grinder Buyers’ Guide

Where are Weston meat grinders made?

Weston is an American brand, and the Weston Meat Grinder’s are manufactured and produced in the United States of America. Weston offers a wide range of products ranging from dehydrators to meat grinders, and most are manufactured and made in the US. Their meat grinders combine performance, durability, and quality to give you complete control over the ingredients and texture of your meat, so you will never have to wonder where your meat is from and what the preparing process was. You can use Weston meat grinders to prepare burger patties, meatloaf, sausages, breakfast links, and many other meals by using the meat you process fresh from your kitchen. The electric meat grinders are some of the faster grinders out there designed for quick and easy processing, and the manual food grinders can even be used to puree apples for applesauce or mashing tomatoes to make salsa.

What is the difference between the Pro series and the Butcher series?

The Pro series meat grinder has an #8 meat grinder size and can grind 4 to 6 lb of meat per minute. The Pro series consists of a 2 HP motor while the Butcher series consists of a 1.5 HP motor. They are very similar in looks and size, but the Pro series includes a holding rack for any extras while the Butcher series does not. Both series of meat grinders can be disassembled for easy washing and maintenance and sturdy handles for transportation and carrying of the meat grinders. They are also designed with extra stability and safety in mind, as they both have non-slip rubber feet and a built-in circuit breaker, which most meat grinders don’t include.

I have graduated The Culinary Institute of America in 2013 and became a chef assistant in one of New York city restaurants. As a talented young cook I began to move up the career ladder – just a few years later I'm worked as a chef in the most prestigious restaurants. Early in my career, I attended many workshops and seminars in Europe and the United States. The training took place at Michelin 3*-4* restaurants and cooking schools.
