Proctor Silex Electric Griddle Review

hey guys how you doing welcome back I
know I don’t do too many product reviews
but we were shopping in Kroger and we
found this electric griddle and it was
like 20 bucks so I thought we would go
ahead and get it out of the box and give
it a test run and see if it works and
how well it does work then another one
of you guys got the black stones and
stuff for the people out there that
can’t really afford that then this is a
electric version it’s a griddle top so
you can do a lot of stuff on there that
you could do with the black stone if it
works properly so we’re gonna test it
out so we’ll be right back once we get
it out of the box alright guys I just
got everything out of the box and this
is it you have your your power adapter
that has your temperature settings on it
so you just plug this in to this side
here the two prongs are going to here
and then you plug obviously that’s
another wall and then you set your
temperature and then it also has a
grease drip so you know the slant
slightly and everything will fall into
that hole that goes so I thought to test
this out what we’ll do is we’ll use the
handy dandy little pamphlet that comes
with it that tells you you know you can
cook eggs french toast memo readers on
pancakes hamburgers bacon sausage hot
dogs so we’re gonna go with number two
french toast and I’m gonna grill up some
french toast that says that prop
temperature is 350 degrees for French
toast and it’s going to take 8 to 10
minutes and I don’t know about that time
but I’m gonna go ahead and get this
thing plugged in and get warmed up there
we go alright so that’s plugged in you
always wanted on minimum before you turn
it on so I’m gonna go ahead and plug
this bad boy in here and set it for 350
and see the power light came on and it
goes all the way up to 400 so it gets
pretty warm now the directions say when
the power light goes out the proper
temperature has been reached on the
grill so we’re gonna go ahead and we’re
gonna let that sucker heat up and I got
some eggs here with that we’re beating
with a little bit of milk and some
vanilla and that the toast and we’ll
make us some french toast and my
daughter and I will partake so we’ll be
right back once the light gets turned
off all right guys I just think takes a
while to heat up apparently but I’m over
again getting blasted in the face by
heat so I’m not gonna wait any longer so
and this is supposed to be nonstick
surface so we’re gonna test that oh I
got me some bread dipping it in the egg
mixture and putting it on the griddle
and it’s a popping so that’s good I
don’t know if you can hear it but I sure
can
so we’ll let that set up I don’t see how
nonstick this sucker is looks like you
can fit like six pieces of french toast
on here so that’s nice I mean this isn’t
you know I mean this is 20 bucks you
also I mean it’s not gonna be perfect
but I think it’s actually kind of cool
because if you can’t go outside for
whatever reason or you know you’re in a
college dorm and you want some pancakes
or french toast or eggs or hamburgers or
hotdogs or anything else you can think
the cook on this thing it’s nice to know
that it will do that right all right so
messy
yeah not too bad on a nonstick I would
call that bird again
dang not used to cooking sitting now
good left that one there there longer
not too long as this one is starting to
burn right down there so that’s the
camera person’s right there
now off of there there we go all right
well I think it’s definitely cooking it
up the light is still on though I don’t
les that’s weird so you could actually
you know when you pull these off you
could put you know ham on here you could
put sausage I would imagine you can fry
up some bacon on here too
so this is really a nice little griddle
so if you’ve got some bad weather or
whatever and plus you know on the stove
you can only do one at a time unless you
got a griddle already on your stove when
it fits over the burners or something
but here I got six pieces of cooking so
yep I think that we are ready to enjoy a
good breakfast
yeah it comes right off that’s cool all
right so I’m gonna turn this off so it
quits blasting me in the face and so
there you have it this is the Proctor
select indoor grill or electric grill
griddle the handles after cooking all
that you can see there cool I can pick
it up you take this off you can wash
this in the sink don’t put it in the
dishwasher just and wash it and I think
it’s definitely worth the 20 bucks so
give me a thumbs up and give me a
comment on what you think of the
protector select electric grill I think
it’s worth 20 bucks you tell me what you
think or if you have something similar
to this how you like it if you’re new to
my channel hit the subscribe button hit
the bell notification so you know when
my videos come out and make sure that
you hit that thumbs up I’ll see you on
the next
