Hakka 7lb Meat Stuffer Review

okay so I purchased this meat stuffer
off of Amazon it’s by a company called
Hawk haka brothers our hacker brothers
not sure of the proper pronunciation I
think they’re based out of California
but this product was made in China
turnpoint some research and basically
looking for a unit I’m like I’m not
doing this
for commercial uses just for me at the
house make some you know sausage or meat
sticks for me and my buddies anybody I
was looking for a unit that was pretty
sturdy you know good quality stainless
steel that was a one of the criterias
that I wanted to make sure that I found
in a unit and I watched a ton of videos
and I come across some decent ones but
there was a few that were pretty
name-brand reputable companies but after
watching some of the videos I wasn’t too
impressed
so with this unit I paid one $29.99 plus
tax come the 137 79 I’m here in New
Castle Pennsylvania free shipping but
this is this was not an Amazon Prime
item but free shipping nonetheless and
this item has a five-star review
based off of 436 reviews through Amazon
so it’s what to talk about a few things
about this packaging was pretty solid it
was pretty simple everything was wrapped
in a layer of plastic and it was
everything was protected you know from
some styrofoam through its through
throughout the packaging in the box so
again everything stainless steel I want
to show you the cylinder
it’s a good show that I just I just made
some six pounds worth of sticks so I
cleaned it up it’s with some dog dishes
dish soap try the dry it the best I
could
that’s the cylinder it seems like it’s
pretty pretty uh pretty tough you have
this the locking nut and then that’s
what secures this unit comes with four
tubes you have the sixteen millimeter
which is what I use for my beef sticks
the beef sticks I used were eighteen
millimeter so it was it was pretty good
fit this is the 22 millimeter and this
one here is thirty two millimeter all
stainless I’m pretty impressed with the
machine quality of the of the unit so
far and one thing I like about this is I
can stack these so one downside I would
have to say is maybe on a upgraded
version of this I would hope that they
put some type of holding device to store
your all but all the components that
come with this and there’s really not
much to it but that would be pretty nice
and then here’s the unit you can see
here it’s stainless has a good base it
comes with these rubber feet that are at
the bottom here see if I can get you a
better angle and show you the bottom
now I want to say with this unit it was
preassembled and there’s no sign of
anything being loose
whoever made you ever manufacture this
and assemble this I think you did a
pretty good job let’s see if I can show
you to the sides one of the things I was
worried about is this the base and then
you’ve got the sides I seen some that
were like a steel rod a different
manufacturer and I can see the movement
you know when you’re when you’re
cranking it it looked like it was moving
or swaying on the base and look like
that might might have been something
that might have been a problem but with
this you know it caught my eye it’s
almost like a beam has two bolts on this
side that hold it to the base and then
there’s two bolts on this side now there
this unit there’s two speeds there’s
like a slow speed and a high speed
I used pretty much too slow for making
my beef steaks but I’m gonna turn this
around let me show you the difference in
the speeds right now I have it on the
the high speed and I you know it’s
basically just to move it up and down
real quick I don’t I don’t think you’ll
want to use that when you’re making your
product but the plunger basically moves
up and down nonetheless pretty quick
simples out so that’s nice that I can
drop that all the way and I can clean it
it’s it’s not permanent
so here’s the handle you know it’s not
heavy duty but it’s it’s good enough I
believe now here is the the second speed
this is a speed that you’re going to
want to use when you’re when you’re
stuffing and I like you hear that little
click you know and that net that fits in
there pretty good I’ll show you the the
container how it goes in so I’m it goes
in this way pivots on these two bolts
crank that up it clicks into place and
I’m also want to point out you can see
here it has a like an air valve to
release some of that pressure because
you’re essentially creating a vacuum as
you’re cranking this and you know I seen
some people complaining about different
units and different machines where they
get some some leakage but I want to say
my seal on this unit
pretty good
so overall I’m pretty impressed with the
quality when I took my out of the box I
cleaned it just use some you know warm
soapy water dish Don you know dish done
dish detergent and like I said no no
metal shavings nothing s’en I just want
to show you me using the the meat
stuffer here and as I mentioned before I
am using 16 millimeter tube with an 18
millimeter casing this is his ground
beef that I seasoned it’s experimental
for me so I’m gonna try different things
out and see how it works out so so far
you as you can see I’m controlling the
speed there nice and easy and once I got
the hang of it I I got better at it
and for me it’s not about speed it’s
more about you know being efficient and
you know get you know making sure I’m
not gonna break the casing or anything
like that
as you’ll see there’s no meat beyond the
seal I had no problems with that
I think the unit did a pretty good job
in containing all the the meat within
the cylinder and the plunger so in the
end this was all to meet that I was left
with I was able to make a couple
hamburger patties and here’s some of my
sticks I definitely need a better knife
you know in cutting those I’m gonna
looking and getting a sharper knife for
sure
I just want to put some pictures in here
from the unboxing and overall him very
happy and satisfied with the product no
complaints so far
so yeah I’ll provide the link to Amazon
for this meat stuffer made by made by
Hawker Brothers and I hope this review
helps you out thanks for watching my
videos
